"El Dia de los Ninos!"
(Day of the Children)

This year’s “Regalos de Amor” will be headed to Nuevo Laredo, Mexico on April 24^th -26^th to celebrate “The Day of the Children”. 

Thursday April the 24^th will be a travel day.  Friday we will have a time of ‘meet and greet.’  This year we have teams coming from Greenville Tennessee, Biloxi Mississippi, and Georgetown, Midland, and San Angelo TX, and a few others. 

Here are the plans for what will take place on these 2 days:

Friday April 25^th  

Friday Morning: We will stuff bags with Children’s Bibles.  Please provide a brown bag with one or two small toys that will be put into the bag as a gift for the children.  (Suggestions: yo-yo, jacks, jump rope, pencils, small note pad and a donation of $1.50 to purchase the Bible)

Friday afternoon: We will head across the border.  In the evening we plan to show the Jesus DVD and a Guetierrez Brothers music DVD in one of the local neighborhoods. 

Plan B:  We will go to the hospital to pray and visit children and folks who are ill.
            Plan C:  We will do street witnessing, handing out tracts.

Note: Passport Cards or Passports are a must for the return border crossing!  

Saturday April 26^th 

Breakfast 8:00 AM:  Teams load up in vans and head to the border, park vehicles and walk across into Mexico.  Note: If you have a hard time walking you may want to stay at Stepping Stone and help out there. There will be plenty to do. 

City buses will take us to our location where we will serve lunch and participate in children’s games, face painting, soccer and other activities. 

We anticipate heading back across the border at about 3:00 PM.  If you need to return sooner please make prior arrangements.  The northward border crossing can take a couple hours to cross.
