Regalos de Amor will be headed to Hinchi, Haiti, in support of Iliobert Benson, pastor of Calvary Hinchi in the next few weeks. At this time they are feeding 300 orphans 3 meals a day, and that number is growing daily. During this first trip, Regalos de Amor's primary mission will be to take support funds directly to Pastor Iliobert.
We know that many of you would like to send supplies, but the expense of sending them—through every means we have researched to this point—is prohibitive. We will continue to seek other less expensive avenues of delivery in the weeks to come.
Pastor Tony will be leaving San Angelo for Ft. Lauderdale on Thursday, February 11th, and flying to Cap Haitian on Friday the 12th.
He and those who travel with him will be met at the airport by Pastor Iliobert and a UN escort, then drive to Hinchi where the church has a missions camp to facilitate teams desiring to help out.
Pastor Tony plans to return Ft. Lauderdale on February 19th then fly to San Angelo on Saturday the 20th.
If you are praying about going, you will have to meet our team in Ft. Lauderdale on the morning of the 12th. You will need to secure your own transportation.
The Haiti leg of the flight will be booked on Lynx Airlines. As of January 23, the price is $557.00
round trip. The cost for airfare round-trip will be approximately $1100 - $1200 dollars from Texas.
This does not include your meals or hotel expenses.
